IF YOU HAVE SPECIAL HEALTH NEEDS let us know, the sooner the better. Please be responsible if you snore, make sure you have a roommate that knows it and is ok with it.
CHEMICALS Some of our guests have extreme chemical sensitivities. Please no essential oils, scented products, deodorants, body lotions, perfumes, strong shampoos, etc. Because many scents can linger on clothes we appreciate it if the clothes you wear and bring have been freshly laundered without fabric softener.
ARRIVAL Plan to arrive at River’s Bend on Friday, 3 pm. Come to the registration table before unpacking your car. We’ll check you in, give you information, and provide you with directions to your lodge or cabin. Directions to River’s Bend are on their website at riversbendretreat.org.

Weather can be quite varied so layered clothing is recommended. Sturdy shoes and a flashlight are very important.
RUSTIC CABIN GUESTS have a short walk to the shower house, so slippers or easy on/off shoes are a good idea.
CAMPING GUESTS need to bring their own tent and sleeping materials. it is a bit of a walk to the meeting area, so please feel free to bring a bike, if you would like.
FOR OUTDOOR TIMES bring a sun hat, sunscreen, etc. If participating in yoga, bring a yoga mat if you have one. You might want to bring a journal for writing, a back-jack, beach or lawn chair to be more comfortable both indoors and out. Bring music makers – drums, rattles, etc. and back jack jacks or a blanket for sitting on the ground. For the river, water shoes are suggested and a beach towel.
